Union Building Representative as used in this Agreement means any qualified member of the bargaining unit who is designated by the Union to act as its representative at meetings and conferences at the school building level.

Union Building Representative as used in this Agreement means any qualified member of the bargaining unit who is designated by the Union to act as its representative at meetings and conferences at the school building level. The term “state or national union representative” as used in this Agreement means any staff employee of the NEA-New Hampshire or the NEA. This term will be specifically stated whenever such representation is permitted under the terms of this Agreement. The term “full-time” as used in this Agreement shall include any person who performs seventy- five (75%) or more of a normal teaching assignment, excepting job-share positions. Teachers who perform less than 100% but 75% or more of a normal teaching assignment will receive full benefits. Teachers hired after July 1, 2011 who perform less than 75% of a normal teaching assignment, and teachers hired before July 1, 2011 who perform less than 50% of a normal teaching assignment, will have their benefits package (inc. health, dental, life, leave, course reimbursement, disability and any other fringe benefits not listed) pro-rated to the equivalent of their assigned teaching duties. Teachers hired before July 1, 2011 who perform 50% or more of a normal teaching assignment will receive full benefits.

  • Bargaining representative means a labor organization recognized by an employer or certified by the commission as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative of certain employees of the employer.

  • Union Representative means a representative from the Union authorized by the Union to act on behalf of an Employee.

  • Estate Representative means an executor, an administrator, an administrator with the will annexed, a liquidator, or an estate trustee with a will or without a will, whether one or more than one is so appointed;

  • Project Representative means the individual(s), including but not limited to the Resident Engineer, to whom the Authority Representative has delegated Project responsibilities. If a Project Representative is appointed, the Project Representative represents the Authority Representative on the Project within the limits of that delegation with respect to any part of the Work.

  • Engineer’s Representative means the official in the civil/ electrical engineering department who is authorized to be in-charge of the work to which these presents relate. It shall include any other official nominated to attend to the supervision of day to day execution of the work to which this CONTRACT relates.

  • Historic building means a building, including its structural components, that is located in this state and that is either individually listed on the national register of historic places under 16 U.S.C. 470a, located in a registered historic district, and certified by the state historic preservation officer as being of historic significance to the district, or is individually listed as an historic landmark designated by a local government certified under 16 U.S.C. 470a(c).

  • Designated Representatives means the Subordination Agent Representatives, the Trustee Representatives and the Provider Representatives identified under Section 2.5.

  • Qualified representative means a person who holds a position with a business organization, who is authorized to act on behalf of the business organization, and who is one of the following:

  • Urban renewal project means undertakings and activities of a municipality in an urban renewal area for the elimination and for the prevention of the development or spread of slums and blight, and may involve slum clearance and redevelopment in an urban renewal area, or rehabilitation or conservation in an urban renewal area, or any combination or part of them in accordance with an urban renewal plan. These undertakings and activities may include:

  • Building Square Footage or "BSF" means the square footage of assessable internal living space of a Unit, exclusive of any carports, walkways, garages, overhangs, patios, enclosed patios, detached accessory structure, other structures not used as living space, or any other square footage excluded under Government Code Section 65995 as determined by reference to the Building Permit for such Unit.

  • Licensing representative means a person authorized by the Department under Section 5 of the Child Care Act of 1969 to examine facilities for licensure.

  • authorized LEA representative means a LEA administrator designated to be responsible for NPS/A. It is understood, a representative of the Special Education Plan Local Area (SELPA) of which the LEA is a member is an authorized LEA representative in collaboration with the LEA. The LEA maintains sole responsibility for the contract, unless otherwise specified in the contract.

  • Management Representative means an individual designated to hear grievances on behalf of the University.

  • Appointed Representative has the meaning set forth in Section 10.1.
