Unit Linked Fund definition

Unit Linked Fund means the pool of the premiums paid by the Policyholders and invested in a portfolio of assets to achieve the fund(s) objective. The price of each unit in a fund depends on how the investments in the fund perform. The fund is managed by the Company.
Unit Linked Fund means a separately identifiable investment-linked fund set up and managed by Us for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the fund. The Unit Linked Funds available under this Policy are mentioned in Section 2 of the Schedule.
Unit Linked Fund means a separately identifiable investment linked fund set up and managed by us for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the fund. The Unit Linked Funds available under the Policy as specified in Part E.

Examples of Unit Linked Fund in a sentence

  • In case there are more than one Unit Linked Funds, the cancellation of Units will be effected, in the same proportion as the aggregate value of the Units held in each Unit Linked Fund, unless specified otherwise by the Policyholder and accepted by the Company.

  • We shall have the discretion to select the investments and/or make the investments under each Unit Linked Fund, having regard to the investment objectives of the respective Unit Linked Fund subject to our investment norms and policies.

  • Past performance of the Unit Linked Fund and other plans of the Company are not indicative of future performance of any of these Funds.

  • The amount credited shall be utilized for purchase of Units at the applicable NAV in the Unit Linked Fund offered by us in respect of this policy.

  • In such an event the Policyholder needs to inform the Company his/her preferred Unit Linked Fund to which the Fund Value is to be switched before the Unit Linked Fund closure date.

  • You may change the investment pattern of the available units in your account by switching from one Unit Linked Fund to another (in whole or in part).

  • We reserve the right to alter or delete any of the terms and conditions of the Policy, including the Benefits, charges other than those charges which are specifically stated to remain unchanged in this Policy, the method, manner and timing of levy or recovery of the charges or valuation of the investments and / or assets of the Unit Linked Fund and / or determination of the Unit Price, with the prior approval of Authority.

  • Past performance of Unit Linked Fund and other Funds of the Company is not indicative of future performance of any of these funds.

  • The Fund Management Charge for the Liquid Fund may be increased by the Company with prior approval of Authority, subject to a maximum of 1.35% per annum for each Unit Linked Fund available to Policyholder.

  • Discretion:We reserve the right to review, revise, delete and / or alter any of the terms and conditions of this policy, including without limitation the Benefits, the Charges other than those charges which are specifically stated to remain unchanged in this policy, the method, manner and timing of levy or recovery of the Charges or valuation of the investments and / or assets of the Unit Linked Fund and / or determination of the Unit Price, with the prior approval of Authority.


More Definitions of Unit Linked Fund

Unit Linked Fund means specific and separate investment funds established, offered, operated and maintained by the Company, as stated in Part E of this document. The Unit Linked Fund pools together the Contributions paid by the Master Policyholder and invests the same in the portfolio of assets to achieve the fund(s) objective
Unit Linked Fund means a Fund which we make available for your Policy which is divided into Units as described in Condition 3.1.2.

Related to Unit Linked Fund

  • Approved Fund means any Fund that is administered or managed by (a) a Lender, (b) an Affiliate of a Lender or (c) an entity or an Affiliate of an entity that administers or manages a Lender.

  • Investment Vehicle means a corporation, partnership, limited partnership, limited liability company, association, or other entity, either domestic or foreign, managed by an external manager in which a board is the majority investor and that is organized in order to invest with, or retain the investment management services of, other external managers.

  • Unit Capital means the aggregate of the face value of units issued under the scheme and outstanding for the time being.

  • Investment pool means an entity created under the Texas Gov- ernment Code to invest public funds jointly on behalf of the entities that participate in the pool and whose investment objectives in or- der of priority are preservation and safety of principal, liquidity, and yield.

  • Mutual Fund or “Fund” or “UTIMF” means UTI Mutual Fund, a Trust under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 registered with SEBI under registration number MF/048/03/01 dated January 14, 2003.

  • Program fund means the program fund created under Section 53B-8a-107,

  • Fund means any Person (other than a natural person) that is (or will be) engaged in making, purchasing, holding or otherwise investing in commercial loans and similar extensions of credit in the ordinary course of its business.
