Unit of Trading definition

Unit of Trading. – means 100 shares of the Underlying Interest, unless otherwise indicated.
Unit of Trading means the number of units of Underlying Interest which have been designated by the Exchange as the number to be the subject of a single Option in such Series of Options.
Unit of Trading means the minimum quantity of contract that can be purchased or sold, specified by the Exchange in the contract specifications.

  • If an adjustment is made in accordance with the preceding sentence, the Unit of Trading for all such adjusted series of Options or similar instruments shall remain unchanged for purposes of determining the aggregate Exercise Price of the Option or similar instrument and for purposes of determining the premium for any such instrument purchased and sold.

  • Outstanding transactions other than those covering Options or similar instruments will be adjusted to replace such Underlying Interest with such fixed amount of cash as the Underlying Interest, and the Unit of Trading shall remain unchanged.

Unit of Trading means the minimum quantity of contract that can be purchased or sold, as specified by the Exchange, from time to time in the contract specifications of an instrument.
