In the event that on expiry of a thirty (30) day period from commencement of your Period of Occupancy, those eligible to do so have not both completed full registration as a students of the University and taken up residence in the Accommodation by collecting your key, you shall be deemed by the University to have forfeited your right to take up residence in University Accommodation and the University reserves the right to terminate your Licence with immediate effect.
If you are dissatisfied with your Accommodation or the way it is managed, any complaint should be made in the first instance to your local reception or housekeeping office or the University Accommodation Office.
The University Accommodation and Security Services in liaison with the Students’ Union promote a culture of an ‘Illegal Drugs Free Campus’, following the spirit of the Crime and Disorder ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ which states that all responsible authorities ‘need to do all that they reasonably can to prevent crime and disorder in its area’.
In order for any and all occupants of such Accommodation to be eligible to reside in and to be permitted to remain in residence in University Accommodation, those eligible to register as students of the University upon acceptance of your Offer, must at all times be, and remain at all times during your Period of Occupancy, fully registered students of the University.
In the event that your Licence Agreement is terminated in accordance with this Clause 1.3 of this Licence Agreement, neither you nor your Family Members shall be permitted to take up residence in University Accommodation.

Late or non-payment of Licence Charges may also affect any future application to reside in University Accommodation (owned or managed) and any Reference provided to private landlords and/or letting agents in the future.
These Halls of Residence Regulations form part of the legally binding Agreement for University Accommodation.
