University Affiliate definition

University Affiliate means any individual associated with TWU in a capacity other than as a Student or Employee who has access to TWU resources through a contractual arrangement or other association. This includes the following individuals:
University Affiliate means any entity supervised or controlled in connection with the university, and that exists or is organized for the benefit of the university.
University Affiliate means each of those entities controlled, directly or indirectly, by the University through (a) ownership of more than 50% of the ownership interests in the entity or (b) the power to appoint or elect a majority of the entity’s governing body (e.g., directors or trustees).

Examples of University Affiliate in a sentence

  • New University shall not retain any other Person during the Term to perform any Back-Office Support Functions assumed pursuant to this Section; provided a New University Affiliate, may perform such Back-Office Support Functions on behalf of New University.

  • University may assign or transfer this Agreement or its rights and obligations hereunder at any time to a University Affiliate on written notice to Company.

  • Provisions that refer to “University” will apply to the property held by the University of Colorado or a University Affiliate.

  • If the University or any University Affiliate requires use of any Third Party Software in order to benefit from the provision of the Services, the Service Provider shall, at no cost to the University, procure the grant to the University and the relevant University Affiliates of such licences on the standard licence terms of the proprietor of such Third Party Software (and the Service Provider shall promptly provide copies of the relevant licence terms to the University).

  • For any inability of University (and/or any University Affiliate) to timely or properly perform the Services, University shall be liable to Participant for the following amounts: an amount equal to the amount of fees Participant paid to University for the Services during the applicable performance year.

  • If the Property is Transferred to any Owner other than an entity affiliated the University Affiliate as contemplated herein or State of Colorado, such Owner will be subject to the City’s police powers, the authority to zone and regulate land uses for the public health, safety and general of the general public together with all review and approval processes associated with such regulatory authority.

  • Where the Services are to be used by a University Affiliate, an obligation in favour of the University is to be deemed to be an obligation in favour of the University and the relevant University Affiliates and the provisions of Clause 46 shall apply.

  • The Service Provider shall (with the University's consent and authority where appropriate): co‑ordinate its efforts with each University Affiliate and Third Party Service Provider and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that any issues which develop between the Service Provider, University Affiliates and Third Party Service Providers are resolved.

  • This includes the five acres of land Transferred to a University Affiliate for the purposes of entering a joint venture with the City’s Housing Authority for the development of affordable housing as contemplated under this Agreement.

  • In addition, the Service Provider shall make available any other information which is needed to enable the University and any relevant University Affiliate to comply fully and effectively with the requirements of any Regulator.

University Affiliate means the CU Boulder Enterprise Corporation or any other Internal Revenue Service Type I, Type II or Type III supporting organization created on behalf of and to support and benefit the University, or any subsidiary of such supporting organization.
