Examples of Upfront Assessment of Need in a sentence

  • Participants who require a Foundation Skills Course must either complete the course or demonstrate that they are at the minimum literacy and numeracy level as determined by the Upfront Assessment of Need Working Instructions before they can enrol in a publicly subsidised vocational course.

  • Service Providers may access one-to-one support to assist them to implement the Upfront Assessment of Need from one of the five Service Providers subsidised by DIS to provide a mentor/ ‘buddy’ support program.

  • All prospective Participants seeking access to a training place in a publicly subsidised course must undergo an Upfront Assessment of Need prior to enrolling in a course and after confirmation of Work Ready eligibility and entitlement.

  • A subsidy will be payable for up to five (5) Bridging Units completed by a Participant enrolled in a full qualification (see Bridging Units Direction and Upfront Assessment of Need Direction).

  • Compliance with the Upfront Assessment of Need includes a service provider meeting the copyright obligations when using the CSPA under the Department of State Development’s license agreement with ACER.

  • Foundation Skills courses are available to Participants who are assessed to need them through the Upfront Assessment of Need process.

  • They include: • Conducting an Upfront Assessment of Need (see Upfront Assessment of Need Direction).• Ensuring that the Service Provider is able to meet the individual and support needs of the Participant as identified in the Upfront Assessment of Need .

  • The Service Provider will at the earliest opportunity ensure that the Upfront Assessment of Need process is undertaken and that any identified literacy and numeracy issues or support needs are managed through the Learning and Support Plan.

  • Evidence to support this decision must be in accordance with the Upfront Assessment of Need requirements, and record keeping requirements.

  • Specifically, there must be clear evidence that: • the Participant was fully informed of the decision to include additional units as Bridging Units;• the Service Provider has conducted an Upfront Assessment of Need that identifies the need to include Bridging Units in a Participant’s study plan; and • the Bridging Units selected will assist the Participant in completing the course.

Related to Upfront Assessment of Need

  • Phase I assessment as described in, and meeting the criteria of, (i) Chapter 5 of the FNMA Multifamily Guide or any successor provisions covering the same subject matter in the case of a Specially Serviced Mortgage Loan as to which the related Mortgaged Property is multifamily property or (ii) the American Society for Testing and Materials in the case of Specially Serviced Mortgage Loan as to which the related Mortgaged Property is not multifamily property.

  • Medical assessment means an assessment of a patient’s medical condition secured by our Assistance Company working in conjunction with the Medical Evacuation Provider’s medical director and in collaboration with the attending physician. The Assistance Company in collaboration with the Medical Evacuation Provider, will utilize the assessment to determine at its sole discretion whether a Plan Holder is fit to fly; the most appropriate means to provide medical evacuation; the medical personnel who will be accompanying the patient on the transport; and to confirm the medical facility closest to one’s home can meet their medical needs. If the patient’s medical facility of choice is unable to provide the high level of medical care required by the patient, arrangements will be made to transport the patient to the appropriate medical facility closest to their home, or closest to patient's preferred medical facility in the US when possible.

  • Risk and needs assessment means an actuarial tool scientifically proven to identify specific factors and needs that are related to delinquent and noncriminal misconduct;

  • Initial assessment means an assessment conducted prior to or at admission to determine whether the individual meets the service's admission criteria; what the individual's immediate service, health, and safety needs are; and whether the provider has the capability and staffing to provide the needed services.

  • Impact Assessment has the meaning given to it in Clause 22.1.3 (Variation Procedure);

  • Data Protection Impact Assessment means an assessment by the Controller of the impact of the envisaged processing on the protection of Personal Data.

  • Needs assessment means a study or statistical analysis that examines the need for ground ambulance service within a service area or proposed service area that takes into account the current or proposed service area’s medical, fire, and police services.

  • Acoustic Assessment Report means the report, prepared in accordance with Publication NPC-233 and Appendix A of the Basic Comprehensive User Guide,by HGC Engineering and dated August 22, 2008 submitted in support of the application, that documents all sources of noise emissions and Noise Control Measures present at the Facility and includes all up-dated Acoustic Assessment Reports as required by the Documentation Requirements conditions of this Certificate to demonstrate continued compliance with the Performance Limits following the implementation of any Modification.

  • Site Assessment means a Site Assessment as defined in Paragraph 10(c).

  • Independent educational evaluation means an evaluation conducted by a qualified examiner who is not employed by the public agency responsible for the education of the child in question.

  • Community Association Dues, Fees, and Assessments means all dues, fees, assessments and other charges that are imposed on Borrower or the Property by a condominium association, homeowners association or similar organization.

  • SWS wage assessment agreement means the document in the form required by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations that records the employee’s productive capacity and agreed wage rate

  • Phase II means the second part of the tuition incentive assistance program which provides assistance in the third and fourth year of 4-year degree programs.

  • Phase I Environmental Assessment A “Phase I assessment” as described in, and meeting the criteria of, the ASTM, plus a radon and asbestos inspection.

  • Development Fees means fees imposed to offset capital costs of providing public infrastructure, public safety or other public services to a development and authorized pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-463.05, A.R.S. Section 11-1102 or A.R.S. Title 48 regardless of the jurisdiction to which the fees are paid.

  • Assessment of Compliance As defined in Section 3.21.

  • Development Fee means a fee for the packaging of a Property, including negotiating and approving plans, and undertaking to assist in obtaining zoning and necessary variances and necessary financing for the Property, either initially or at a later date.
