Cadre means the strength of a service or a part of a service sanctioned as a separate unit.
Primer means a coating labeled and formulated for application to a substrate to provide a firm bond between the substrate and subsequent coats.
ICAO means the International Civil Aviation Organisation;
OJEU means the Official Journal of the European Union.
SUD means a condition in which the use of one or more substances leads to a clinically significant impairment or distress per the DSM-5.
France means the European and overseas departments of the French Republic, including the territorial sea, and any area outside the territorial sea within which, in accordance with international law, the French Republic has sovereign rights for the purpose of exploring and exploiting the natural resources of the sea-bed and its subsoil and the superjacent waters;
MAS means the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
WADA means the World Anti-Doping Agency.
LA means the Local Authority in the area in which the Academy is situated;
SANS : means the South African National Standards.
FOISA means the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Xxx 0000 and any subordinate legislation made under this Act from time to time or any superseding or amending enactments or regulations, together with any guidance and/or codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner, the Scottish Information Commissioner and/or any relevant government department in relation to such legislation.
SAQA means the South African Qualifications Authority;
POPIA means the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013;
NZME means all companies in the NZME Group including but not limited to APN Holdings NZ Limited, NZME. Publishing Limited, NZME. Radio Limited, GrabOne Limited and all brands and operating companies controlled by or associated with those entities.
Argentina means the Republic of Argentina.
Spain means the Kingdom of Spain.
AICTE means “All India Council for Technical Education.”
Mexico means the United Mexican States.
GAC10 means granular activated carbon filter beds with an empty-bed contact time of 10 minutes based on average daily flow and a carbon reactivation frequency of every 180 days, except that the reactivation frequency for GAC10 used as a best available technology for compliance with MCLs under subsection 9.2.1.2 shall be 120 days.
Handgun means a firearm of any description, loaded or unloaded, from which any shot, bullet, or other missile can be discharged by an action of an explosive where the length of the barrel, not including any revolving, detachable, or magazine breech, does not exceed 12 inches; provided, however, that the term "handgun" shall not include a gun which discharges a single shot of .46 centimeters or less in diameter.
