Utility cost savings definition

Utility cost savings means any utility expenses that are eliminated or avoided on a long-term basis as a result of equipment installed or modified, or services performed by a qualified energy service provider. Utility cost savings do not include merely shifting personnel costs or similar short-term cost savings.
