Vacuum valve definition

Vacuum valve means a spring-loaded device which is activated automatically by pressure the purpose of which is to protect the tank against unacceptable negative internal pressure;
Vacuum valve means a self-closing, spring-loaded device the purpose of which is to protect the tank against unacceptable negative internal pressure.
Vacuum valve means a special valve installed at the interface between a vacuum collection sewer and the holding tank which collects gravity discharge from one or more “Building Sewers.” The vacuum valve’s function is to automatically introduce the discharge from the building sewer(s) into the vacuum collector sewer.
