EQUIPMENT USED. The parties to this Agreement recognize that under Sections of the California Labor Code, there are mutual obligations, direct and implied to assure that the spirit and intent of the Code is observed and otherwise complied with, to wit: A. The City recognizes that it has an obligation to provide, among other things, a safe place of employment for all employees, including a duty to provide and use safety devices and safeguards which are reasonably necessary and adequate to render the place of employment and the employment itself reasonably safe. B. The Association recognizes that in order to fulfill such obligations the City has the right as well as the obligation to establish and enforce such reasonable rules concerning the place of employment, safety devices and safeguards as may be necessary to render the place of employment and the employment itself reasonably safe. C. The Association further recognizes that it is the obligation and duty of each employee to observe and otherwise comply with all such reasonable rules and regulations established by the City to render the place of employment and the employment itself reasonably safe.

EQUIPMENT USED. 1- The contractor shall estimate and secure the number, type and size of the equipment and machinery required for the routine maintenance work, and distribute the same to the work sites in such a way that enable it to perform the required works. Related costs shall be paid as per the quantities specified in the approved BOQs for those actually supplied to the Site. The use of such equipment shall not be permitted except for the routine maintenance works. 2- The equipment and machinery shall be supplied at the dates specified in the work programs and in quantities suitable for the preventive maintenance works. It shall be understood that the costs of these equipment and machinery are charged to the prices of preventive maintenance items. 3- The Contractor shall comply with the applicable regulations and laws when transferring or moving equipment.
EQUIPMENT USED. In the course of the physical/visual inspection canied out pursuant to the CBCA Programme, the staff and the inspectors of the recognized Service Provider do not generally need special equipment, other than personal protective equipment and cameras. All the handling operations must be carried out by the importer or exporter using its own resources and under i tG own responsibility. Duly calibrated measuring instruments (in particular weighing equipment when the quantity is defined by weight) may be required at the inspection site. Laboratories canying out tests �ust, for their part, have appropriate equipment (cf. section 4 below). However, User Governments may sometimes require additional services requiring the use of other resources, such as radiation measuring instruments or X-ray scanners: in this case, the agents and staff of recognized Strvice Providers shall use specific equipment.
EQUIPMENT USED. Computers, laminators, copiers, die-cuts, and other teaching related equipment typically found in school settings. Service Project equipment will vary based on the project and on-site training will be provided if necessary.

  • Equipment Use Lessee agrees that the Equipment will be operated by competent, qualified personnel in connection with Lessee's business for the purpose for which the Equipment was designed and in accordance with applicable operating instructions, laws, and government regulations, and that Lessee shall use all reasonable precautions to prevent loss or damage to the Equipment from fire and other hazards. Lessee shall procure and maintain in effect all orders, licenses, certificates, permits, approvals, and consents required by federal, state, or local laws or by any governmental body, agency, or authority in connection with the delivery, installation, use, and operation of the Equipment.

  • Equipment Location The Company recognizes that it is important when designing, constructing, and maintaining physical plant components, to have regard for the specific placement of equipment, with a view to the elimination of hazardous work situations. Accordingly, wherever practical to do so, new installations, or the rebuild of existing installations, will be designed accordingly.

  • Life support equipment (a) If a person living or intending to live at your premises requires life support equipment, you must: (i) register the premises with your retailer or with us; and (ii) provide medical confirmation for the premises. (b) Subject to satisfying the requirements in the Rules, your premises may cease to be registered as having life support equipment if medical confirmation is not provided to us or your retailer.

  • Mandatory equipment (a) All Employees engaged to work on site will be supplied with safety footwear and safety helmets appropriate to the work that they perform before commencing work on a project. The safety footwear will be of an equivalent standard to those made by: (i) Steel Blue; (ii) Xxxxxx; and (iii) Mongrel Boots. (b) These items must be worn at all times as instructed during the site induction process. (c) Helmets must not be painted, drilled or modified in any way. Damaged and/or worn footwear and helmets will be replaced on demand.

  • New Equipment Where new types of equipment and/or operations, for which rates of pay are not established by this Agreement, are put into use after the ratification date of this Agreement within operations covered by this Agreement, rates governing such operations shall be subject to negotiations between the parties. This paragraph shall apply to all new types of equipment including office and clerical equipment. In the event an agreement cannot be reached within sixty (60) days after the date such equipment is put into use, the matter may shall be submitted to the National Grievance Committee for final disposition. Rates agreed upon or awarded shall be effective as of the date equipment is put to use
