Verra Program definition

Verra Program means the following programs and standards managed by Verra: Verified Carbon Standard (VCS); Climate, Community and Biodiversity (CCB) Standards; Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta); Plastic Waste Reduction Program (Plastic Program); and, any other sustainable development, climate action or other program or standard administered by Verra from time to time, which may or may not issue Instruments.
Verra Program means any of the following programs and standards managed by Verra: the VCS Program; the VCS Jurisdictional and Nested REDD+ (JNR) Framework; the Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Program; the Verra California Offset Project Registry; the Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta); Plastic Waste Reduction Standard; and, any other sustainable development and / or climate action program or standard administered by Verra.

Examples of Verra Program in a sentence

  • Verra will require any User who intends to issue Instruments in the Verra Registry to provide all documentation, attestations and information as required by the relevant Verra Program Rules and Requirements.

  • The User acknowledges and agrees that any Buffer Credits held in a pooled buffer account on the Verra Registry may be cancelled or retired by Verra upon notification of a reversal event in accordance with the relevant Verra Program Rules and Requirements.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, a Project or Activity may be listed under more than one Program, provided that it meets the requirements for listing of each of the applicable Verra Program Rules and Requirements or Scheme Regulations.

  • The accreditation of the Service Provider to provide the Services under the applicable Verra Program must not have expired or been withdrawn, suspended or cancelled.

  • Verra Program Rules The Service Provider shall at all times conduct its performance of the Services in compliance with the relevant Verra Program Rules and VVB Oversight Procedures and, where Verra's approval of the Service Provider under this Agreement to provide the Services is based on the Service Provider's accreditation under an Accreditation Program as set out in the Verra Program Rules, the rules and principles of that Accreditation Program, as relevant.

  • The obligation to compensate for any over-issuance of Instruments survives the End Date, and exists until the later of: (a) the date which is six years after the date of issuance of such Instrument; or (b) 12 months after the date upon which any second verification report with respect to any such Instrument is accepted on the Verra Registry in accordance with the relevant Verra Program Rules and Requirements.

  • Neither Verra nor the Registry Software Provider makes any representations, or warranties, express or implied, with respect to these Terms of Use, the procedures set out by Verra or compliance with the relevant Verra Program Rules and Requirements, or the adequacy or performance of the Verra Registry.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, a User shall have a separate Program Sub-Account for each Verra Program it participates in.

  • Issuance of Registry Instruments‌ A User may request that Verra issue Instruments to its Verra Registry Account in accordance with the relevant Verra Program Rules and Requirements.

  • Where there is any inconsistency between these Terms of Use and the Program Rules and Requirements of a Verra Program, the Program Rules and Requirements of the relevant Verra Program will prevail over these Terms of Use.

Related to Verra Program

  • AML Program has the meaning ascribed thereto in Schedule 2.1(F)(8) hereof.

  • CRAF Program means the Civil Reserve Air Fleet Program authorized under 10 U.S.C. Section 9511 et seq. or any similar or substitute program under the laws of the United States.

  • Education program means any program that is principally engaged in the provision of education, including, but not limited to, early childhood education, elementary and secondary education, postsecondary education, special education, job training, career and technical education, and adult education, and any program that is administered by an educational agency or institution.

  • Educational program means a program for educating and preparing physician assistants which is approved by the board.

  • E-Verify Program above means the employment verification program administered by the United States Department of Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration, or any successor program.

  • Marketing program means a program established by order of the director pursuant to this act prescribing rules and regulations governing the marketing for processing, distributing, selling, or handling an agricultural commodity produced in this state or agricultural commodity input during a specified period and

  • the Programme means the Government programme for delivery of smart metering in Great Britain. The Programme is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of policy, including establishing the commercial and regulatory framework to facilitate the roll-out;

  • Pilot program means a program using a representative sample of residential and small commercial customers to assist in developing and offering customer choice of electricity supply for all residential and commercial customers.

  • Service program or “service” means any medical care ambulance service or nontransport service that has received authorization by the department.

  • Number of Students Who Began Program means the number of students who began the program who are scheduled to complete the program within the reporting calendar year.

  • Loan Program means the State Treasurer’s Interest-Free Loan Program for Colorado School Districts authorized pursuant to the Loan Program Statutes.

  • Child day program means a regularly operating service arrangement for children where, during the absence of a parent or guardian, a person or organization has agreed to assume responsibility for the supervision, protection, and well-being of a child under the age of 13 for less than a 24-hour period.

  • (3) PROGRAM.—The term program’ means

  • Training program means a standardized medication

  • Program Plan means the tobacco settlement program plan dated February 14, 2001, including exhibits to the program plan, submitted by the authority to the legislative council and the executive council, to provide the state with a secure and stable source of funding for the purposes designated by section 12E.3A and other provisions of this chapter.

  • Commercialization Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2.

  • Program means the statutorily authorized activities of the System Agency under which this Contract has been awarded.

  • Development Program means the implementation of the development plan.

  • Development Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

  • Education program or activity means locations, events, or circumstances for which the school district exercises substantial control over both the respondent and the context in which the sexual harassment occurs and includes school district education programs or activities that occur on or off of school district property.

  • Apprenticeship program means a program registered with the U.S. Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training which contains the terms and conditions for the qualification, recruitment, selection, employment and training of apprentices, including the requirement for a written apprenticeship agreement.

  • Covered Program means an education program or activity over which the College exercised substantial control over both the Respondent and the context in which the sexual harassment occurred.

  • Number of Students Who Began the Program means the number of students who began a program who were scheduled to complete the program within 100% of the published program length within the reporting calendar year and excludes all students who cancelled during the cancellation period.

  • Transitional living program means a residential program that may be attached to an existing facility or operated solely for the purpose of assisting children to develop the skills and abilities necessary for successful adult living. The program may include, but shall not be limited to, reduced staff supervision, vocational training, educational services, employment and employment training, and other appropriate independent living skills training as a part of the transitional living program;

  • Qualifying Educational Program means a program at a post-secondary school level of not less than three consecutive weeks duration that requires each student taking the program to spend not less than 10 hours per week on courses or work in that program.

  • Acid Rain Program means the sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides air pollution control program established pursuant to Title IV of the Act under 40 CFR Parts 72-78.
