Violence Shelter definition

Violence Shelter means a shelter for domestic violence victims that meet all of the following requirements: 1. Provides shelter in an undisclosed and secured location 2. Provides staff that meets the requirements set forth in Section 1037.1 of the Evidence Code 3. Meets the requirements set forth in Section 18294 of the California Welfare and Institutions Code

  • Sexual violence means any sexual act or act targeting a person’s sexuality, gender identity or gender expression, whether the act is physical or psychological in nature, that is committed, threatened or attempted against a person without the person’s consent, and includes sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, indecent exposure, voyeurism and sexual exploitation.

  • terrorism financing means directly or indirectly, unlawfully and wilfully, provides or collects funds with the intention that they should be used or in the knowledge that they are to be used, in full or in part, in order to carry out acts of terrorism.
