Voluntary Prekindergarten definition

Voluntary Prekindergarten or “VPK program” means the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program program created under by Section 1002.53, F.S., and which is organized, designed, and delivered in accordance with Section 1(b) and (c), Article Art. IX of the State Constitution.

Voluntary Prekindergarten. (VPK) means a state- funded program provided in public school that covers the cost of a set number of hours of prekindergarten instruction to children who turn four (4) years of age on or before September 1 of the school year for which they are eligible to attend as provided in Part V of Chapter 1002, F.S.

Examples of Voluntary Prekindergarten in a sentence

  • The grantee shall use all state general revenue funds awarded for operating the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program solely operating the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program and shall be distinctive and clearly identifiable in all fiscal records the grantee maintains.

  • If PROVIDER is a school district executing a single Contract on behalf of multiple public school Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program providers, a list of their names and their physical addresses are included in Exhibit 1: Provider Location List.

  • MVAR means megavolt ampere of reactive power.

  • Preschool child means a child who is three years old or older but is not a school child.

  • Junkyard means an establishment or place of business which is maintained, operated or used for storing, keeping, buying or selling junk, or for the maintenance or operation of an automobile graveyard, including garbage dumps and sanitary fills.

  • Backsiphonage means the flow of water or other liquids, mixtures or substances into the potable water system from any source other than its intended source, caused by the reduction of pressure in the potable water system.
