VPDES Permit definition

VPDES Permit means a General VPDES (Virginia Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) Permit for Discharges of Stormwater from Construction Activities, 9VAC25-880, issued by the department pursuant to § 62.1-44.15 of the Code of Virginia for stormwater discharges from a land-disturbing activity.
VPDES Permit means the Virginia Pollution Discharge Elimination System permit or any permit of a different name which may hereafter authorize what is now permitted by a VPDES permit.

VPDES Permit means a Virginia Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit, a document issued by the Virginia State Water Control Board, pursuant to State regulation 9 VAC 25-31-10 et seq., authorizing under prescribed conditions the potential or actual discharge of pollutants from a point source to surface waters. Under the approved State program, a VPDES permit is equivalent to an NPDES permit.
