Signature authority may be delegated to a qualified individual within the Grantee’s organization upon written notification from the Environmental Health Director (or equivalent) to the State Water Board Grant Manager.
The State Water Board retains final authority for disposition of petitions; however, nothing in this agreement prevents the Grantee from establishing an intermediate process for resolving disputes at the local level.
When the Grantee is requested by the State Water Board to provide a response to a petition, the response must be signed by a representative at the Grantee’s Environmental Health Director level (or equivalent).
