WHS Law definition

WHS Law means all applicable Laws relating to work health and safety, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth), the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth) and any applicable Corresponding WHS Law. WHS Notifiable Incident means any notifiable incidents under WHS Law, accidents, injuries, or damage to property of a serious nature that occurs in connection with the Project. and Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme means the Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme referred to in section 43 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth).
WHS Law means the WHS Act and any ‘corresponding work health and safety law’ as defined in section 4 of the WHS Act.
WHS Law means the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA) and the WHS Regulations; “WHS Regulations” means the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012;

Examples of WHS Law in a sentence

  • The Developer is to use its best endeavours to ensure that: the Council can audit, inspect and test the Developer Works without breaching WHS Law, the Council can access and use the Developer Works without breaching WHS Law.

  • Within a further 7 days, the Developer must formally notify or procure the notification of WorkCover of the accident or occurrence in accordance with the WHS Law, using any prescribed form.

  • In this regard, the Contractor must at all times be aware of and discharge its obligations under WHS Law and all other Laws in respect of workplace and occupational health and safety.

More Definitions of WHS Law

WHS Law means any statute, rule, regulation, ordinance, by-law, code of practice, guideline or Standard, present or future, that relates to WHS in the place where the Contractor is to provide the Supply.
WHS Law means all applicable Laws relating to work health and safety, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth), the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth) and any applicable Corresponding WHS Law;
WHS Law means the WHS Act and any "corresponding WHS law" as defined in section 4 of the WHS Act.
WHS Law means the Work Health & Safety Act, 2011 (ACT, NSW, QLD), Occupational Safety & Health Act, 1984 (WA), Occupational Safety & Health Act 2004 (VIC) and Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA) and associated Regulations applicable to the Contractor’s place of business or where the work is performed, as amended from time to time.
WHS Law means the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW), the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld), the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic) and any other comparable legislation in other states or territories where the goods are provided (including the model work health and safety laws). “working day” means a day (other than Saturday or Sunday) on which registered banks are open for business in both Banyo, QLD and the state or territory in which the Purchase Order was issued, but excludes any day in the period from 24 December in any year to 5 January (both inclusive) in the following year.
