Work Loads. If an employee believes the amount of work he or she is required to perform is excessive over what is required from the rest of the staff and it will result in an occupational accident or occupational injury to him or her, the question shall be referred to Section of this Agreement.   • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Services means those functional services ancillary to the supply of the goods, such as transportation and any other incidental services, such as installation, commissioning, provision of technical assistance, training, catering, gardening, security, maintenance and other such obligations of the supplier covered under the contract.

  • Contract means the written agreement entered into between the purchaser and the supplier, as recorded in the contract form signed by the parties, including all attachments and appendices thereto and all documents incorporated by reference therein.

  • Owner means the person in whose name American Depositary Shares are registered on the books of the Depositary maintained for that purpose.

  • Code means the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.

  • Confidential Information means any communication or record (whether oral, written, electronically stored or transmitted, or in any other form) provided to or made available to Contractor or that Contractor may create, receive, maintain, use, disclose or have access to on behalf of HHS that consists of or includes any or all of the following:

  • Act means the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.

  • Board means the Board of Directors of the Company.

  • Affiliate means any Person that, directly or indirectly through one or more intermediaries, controls or is controlled by or is under common control with a Person, as such terms are used in and construed under Rule 405 under the Securities Act.

  • Day means calendar day.

  • Department means the department of health.

  • Commission means the Securities and Exchange Commission.

  • corrupt practice means the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of anything of value to influence the action of a public official in the procurement process or in contract execution.

  • SCC means the Special Conditions of Contract.

  • fraudulent practice means a misrepresentation of facts in order to influence a procurement process or the execution of a contract to the detriment of the Procuring Entity, and includes collusive practices among Bidders (prior to or after bid submission) designed to establish bid prices at artificial, non-competitive levels and to deprive the Procuring Entity of the benefits of free and open competition.
