Work to rule definition

Work to rule means strict compliance with the terms and conditions of the industrial award governing teachers in TAFE Institutes.
Work to rule means that members will no longer engage in any activity that goes beyond what is expressly stated in their contractual terms and conditions. This includes working beyond your contracted hours and any other additional activity that members may have previously done on a voluntary basis.
