Xxxxxx Family Agency definition

Xxxxxx Family Agency means any public agency or private organization engaged in the recruiting, approving, training of, and providing professional support to Resource Families who provide out-of-home care in a family home setting for the placement of children/youth, pregnant and parenting teens with children, and Non Minor Dependents (NMDs) who are supervised by DCFS and Probation and in need of care. FFAs will coordinate with DCFS and Probation Department to find homes and provide services and supports to Resource Families and to the placed children to the extent possible and authorized by local, state and federal law.

Xxxxxx Family Agency or “FFA” – means any public agency or private organization engage in recruiting, approving, training of, and providing professional support to Resource Families who provide out-of-home care in a family home setting for the placement of children/youth, pregnant and parenting teens with children, and Non Minor Dependents (NMDs) who are supervised by DCFS and Probation and in need of care. Xxxxxx Family Agency means any individual or organization engaged in the recruiting, certifying, and training of, and providing professional support to, xxxxxx parents, or in finding homes or other places for placement of children for temporary or permanent care who require that level of care as an alternative to a group home. Private xxxxxx family agencies shall be organized and operated on a nonprofit basis. "Certified family home" means a family residence certifi ed by a licensed xxxxxx family agency and issued a certificate of approval by that agency as meeting licensing standards, and used only by that xxxxxx family agency for placements.

Examples of Xxxxxx Family Agency in a sentence

  • I agree to report any and all violations of the above by any other person and myself to the Xxxxxx Family Agency approving my home and I agree to ensure that the Xxxxxx Family Agency approving my home reports such violations to the County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services.

  • Xxxxxxx Family means Xxxxx X. Xxxxxxx, Xxxxx X. Xxxxxxx, Xx., Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx, Xxxx Xxxxxxx and the members of their Families.

  • Public safety agency means a functional division of a public agency, county, or the state that provides fire fighting, law enforcement, ambulance, medical, or other emergency services.

  • Child support agency means the public agency responsible for child support

  • Licensing agency means the Rhode Island Department of Health.

  • Xxxxxxx Mac The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, or any successor thereto.

  • Quasi-public Agency means the Connecticut Development Authority, Connecticut Innovations, Incorporated, Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority, Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority, Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, Connecticut Housing Authority, Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority, Connecticut Hazardous Waste Management Service, Capital City Economic Development Authority, Connecticut Lottery Corporation, or as this definition may otherwise be modified by Title 1, Chapter 12 of the Connecticut General Statutes concerning quasi-public agencies.

  • Advisory agency means any board, commission, committee or post which does not exercise any sovereign power or duty, but is appointed by a governmental agency or officer or is created by law for the purpose of making studies or recommendations, or advising or consulting with a governmental agency.

  • Licensed financial institution means a financial institution issued a license under this act.

  • Xxxxxxx Act means the Xxxxxxx Antitrust Act of 1890.

  • Gram Sabha means a body consisting of persons registered in the electoral rolls relating to a village comprised within the area of Panchayat at the village level;

  • Bona fide agency, as used in this clause, means an established commercial or selling agency, maintained by a contractor for the purpose of securing business, that neither exerts nor proposes to exert improper influence to solicit or obtain Government contracts nor holds itself out as being able to obtain any Government contract or contracts through improper influence.

  • User Agency means any person, organisation or company or department of the Central Government or State Government making a request for diversion or de-notification of forest land for non-forest purpose or using forest land for non-forest purpose in accordance with the provisions contained in the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 (69 of 1980) and the rules made and guidelines issued, thereunder.
