Professional Support. 1. The parties agree there may be times when Associate and tenured faculty need additional support in the areas of teaching and learning, governance, student success, or other areas of professional responsibility. Probationary Committees will provide support for and address concerns about Probationary Faculty. 2. Except for extreme conditions, the supervising xxxx, with notification to the Division Chair, will meet with an Academic Employee to evaluate concerns and develop a plan to resolve issue(s). Concerns may be related to any of the following: a. A pattern of student complaints or grievances; b. A pattern of complaints from industry partners or clinical worksites; c. A pattern of excessive student withdrawals; d. A pattern of excessive absenteeism, reoccurring failure to meet classes, or consistent inability to meet the parameters of the assigned class; e. A failure to fulfill governance responsibilities, e.g., committee assignments (refer to Articles IX and XXI); f. A failure to work cooperatively and professionally with peer faculty and/or staff. 3. Based upon the nature of the complaint/concern, the supervising xxxx, the Division Chair, and the affected faculty member will develop an improvement plan that may include but is not limited to student evaluations, classroom visitations, peer faculty observations, a formal mentoring program, or other activities as deemed appropriate based on the presented concerns. The duration of the plan will be from one (1) to three (3) quarters, excluding summer quarter, depending upon the specific circumstances of the concern. 4. At the completion of the plan, the supervising xxxx and the Division Chair will draft an outcome report that will be provided to the affected academic employee, the VP of Learning & Student Success, and the Faculty Association President. The report will include a review of the developed plan, whether or not the plan activities were successful, and one of the following recommend actions: a. Closure of the concern/complaint and improvement plan based on successful resolution of the concerns by said faculty member. b. Recommend continuation of remediation if significant progress has not been made. 5. The complete report will be placed in the academic employee’s personnel file. 6. The development and implementation of an improvement plan does not obligate the college to continue to issue employment contracts to the affected faculty member. Professional Support. 3.1. Professional support includes: a. personal technical support for the Registered User or Co-User of Noldus Software and Noldus Hardware via phone, e-mail or a remote assistance tool; b. tips and tricks to facilitate the effective use of Noldus Software and Noldus Hardware; c. explanation of basic functionality and specifications and diagnosis and analysis of technical problems related to the Noldus Software and Noldus Hardware; d. suggestions for workarounds if possible; Third Party Software and Hardware is supported as far as Xxxxxx has working knowledge on the Product. If required, Noldus may consult such Third Party Supplier. 3.2. Professional support shall not include any of the following services: a. consultancy about the application of the software specific to the Customer’s research or business process; b. custom Software development; c. NoldusCare at the Customer’s location unless agreed otherwise between Noldus and Customer; d. NoldusCare on Products that have reached End of Support; e. NoldusCare for use of Software or Hardware other than in accordance with the applicable User Documentation by the Customer, including removal or alteration of operating components the use of operating systems or networks not supported by Software, or using hardware or software not supported by Noldus. f. services or consultancy delivered by a trainer or software engineer related to functionality that is not described in the User Documentation of the Product; g. services for products that were not purchased from Noldus; h. cleaning and decontamination of returned Hardware. 3.3. Customer shall inform Xxxxxx in writing of the name and contact details of the Registered User and any Co-User(s). 3.4. Customer, through its Registered User or its Co-User(s), shall be entitled to a maximum total of 80 hours of professional support per year. 3.5. Professional support is available to Customer on Monday through Friday, except on public holidays in the country in which the Noldus office is located where the Customer purchased the Product, during the opening hours listed on xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx/support-center. NoldusCare will use its best efforts to reply to requests for NoldusCare within 24 hours on working days. Customer can access the knowledge basis on the Noldus website for technical support at any time. 3.6. Professional Support. 6.1.1 This clause will not apply to Medical Officers who are:
Professional Support. A. There shall be a Resident Educator Program adopted by the Adena Education Association and the Adena Local School Board of Education. B. Any revisions in the program shall be based on the recommendations of the joint Association and Board committee, and subject to Department of Education guidelines. C. The parties shall work collaboratively to secure grants and other resources for the Resident Educator Program. 25.02 Resident Educator Program Development and Screening Committee‌ A. A committee comprised of three (3) teachers appointed by the Association and at least one (1) administrator will meet to maintain the Resident Educator Program and will also act as a screening committee to select teachers who will act as Mentor teachers. B. The committee will also have the responsibility to develop criteria and evaluate applicants for the position of Lead Mentor. C. The selection criteria for selecting Mentors shall be in accordance with criteria established by the Ohio State Department of Education. D. All Mentor applicants shall have completed Mentor training, or other required training, and Orientation prior to mentoring/coaching. E. Participation as a Mentor teacher shall be a voluntary commitment for a one-year period. Mentor assignments shall be on a rotating basis so that all members may participate. F. A Mentor may resign in the case of an identified personal emergency that would require the Mentor's withdraw from the program or in the case of a Mentor/Resident Educator relationship that has been deemed, by mutual agreement of the Mentor and Resident Educator, to be unworkable.
Professional Support. The District and the Association recognize the need for more accessible and more immediate peer assistance and support. To that end, the parties agree to establish a formal Professional Support program with the following features: a. Professional Support may be recommended by a colleague, a building representative, or a building administrator but access to Professional Support is by self referral only. Participation would be voluntary. b. Participation in Professional Support activities will not be reflected in any personnel materials unless the teacher includes such references. c. Support shall be provided by other Professional and Lead Teachers as indicated by the CIT Panel. d. Support may include, but shall not be limited to, counseling, observations of others’ classes, demonstration lessons by lead teachers, in-service courses, workshops and conferences. e. Participation in Professional Support activities shall not prevent referral for Intervention Services. f. Formal participation in Professional Support activities shall be limited to two full semesters.
Professional Support. The district shall reimburse employees for tuition costs of Professional Certification (Pro-Teach) coursework up to $1000 total. To obtain reimbursement, employees shall submit evidence of course completion and a detailed receipt indicating proof of payment for Professional Certification (Pro-Teach) coursework. The District will reimburse, up to $200 annually, the costs required of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech and Language Pathologists to obtain the national certification that is required of them in order to xxxx for Medicaid services when said certification is required of the employee by the District. To obtain reimbursement, the employee shall submit evidence of certification renewal and a detailed receipt indicating proof of payment for certification.

Professional Support a. The District will attempt to provide each teacher with lockable space for supplies within the teacher's school or work location. b. Before the end of each fiscal year, member[s] of Adult Education administration will meet with a committee of unit members to discuss supplies for the next year.
Professional Support. 1. Each bargaining unit member shall be entitled to one District paid classified self-directed professional development absence for one full workday to facilitate access to employee selected professional learning. This benefit shall accumulate from year to year for the duration of the contract. 2. Professional Learning Community (PLC). Secretaries shall meet and confer with their colleagues during District approved and directed PLC time. This PLC time will be directed and scheduled by the secretaries with approval of administration. The total PLC time available each year shall be paid by the District, and will not exceed six (6) hours and meetings will not be scheduled during student attendance hours. 3. When an employee begins a new position, a period of orientation and training shall be available upon request and supervisor approval. The District shall pay the new employee trainer out of District funds, at their regular rate of pay, including overtime as applicable.
Professional Support. 6.1.1. Following Approval of this Agreement, Medical Officers (with the exception of Interns and those who are receiving the Vocational Training Subsidy in clause 6.2) are eligible to apply to their Director for professional support up to the value of $1000.00 per annum (pro rata for part time Medical Officers and those Medical Officers who are employed for less than 12 months on fixed term arrangements) from the date of Approval by the FWC. This initiative is to support doctors in training meet the costs associated with their profession at Mater and can be used to claim professional fees or for development activities or materials. 6.1.2. The amount will be indexed by 2.5% each year of the Agreement. 6.1.3. Medical Officers (with the exception of Interns and those who are receiving the Vocational Training Subsidy in clause 6.2) will be required to provide evidence of the completion of organisation role compliance requirements to their manager when seeking a reimbursement for professional support. Medical Officers (with the exception of Interns and those who are receiving the Vocational Training Subsidy in clause 6.2) will also be required to submit a tax invoice. 6.1.4. It is the Medical Officers (with the exception of Interns and those who are receiving the Vocational Training Subsidy in clause 6.2) responsibility to seek reimbursement a minimum of 30 days prior to their known end date of employment. If reimbursement is not sought by this time, any reimbursement paid is at the discretion of Mater.
