Insurance. If services are performed under this order on Buyer's premises, Seller shall obtain Premises-Operations, Personal Injury, and Independent Contractors Protective Liability endorsements, and shall further obtain Workers' Compensation, Employer's Liability and Automobile Liability Insurance coverage in amounts acceptable to Buyer, and if Seller will have access to Buyer property, computer systems and/or data, Third Party Fidelity/Crime Coverage. If requested, Seller shall furnish Buyer with a certificate evidencing the required insurance.
Insurance. 16.1 In addition to the requirements under condition 4.1, you shall at your own cost maintain during the term of the Contract and the Warranty Period as referred to in condition 14.2 such insurance (with a reputable insurance company) as is appropriate to provide for the obligations and liabilities under the Contract arising from the delivery of the Goods and/or performance of the Services. Such insurance shall:
(a) include insurance for the Goods:
(i) for an amount as specified by us in the Commercial Conditions, or in the absence of such a specification, an amount equal to the replacement cost for the Goods, and
(ii) against all risks, including theft, pilferage and non-delivery for any reason from the point of production to the point of delivery; and
(b) limits of cover which prudent business of a similar size to you working in your industry would obtain, and which is in any event not less than the following limits set out in this condition 16.1(b) for any claim or series of claims arising out of a single event during such period: professional indemnity insurance - GBP 1,000,000; product liability insurance - GBP 1,000,000; public liability insurance - GBP 1,000,000; third party motor liability insurance – such sum as is required by law in the relevant jurisdiction; and employer’s liability and workers compensation insurance – such sum as is required by law in the relevant jurisdiction, to cover liabilities that may arise under or in connection with the Contract.
16.2 You shall on request, produce both the insurance certificate giving details of cover and the receipt for the current year's premium in respect of each insurance.
16.3 Any limitation, monetary or otherwise in such insurance policy referred to in condition 16.1 above shall not be construed as a limitation on your liability and you shall remain liable in full for any matters and to any extent not covered by the policy.
Insurance. 17.1. PERI shall not assume the costs of insurance for Deliverables, in particular freight forwarding insurance.
17.2. The Supplier is informed that PERI is an SVS and RVS1 prohibition customer.
17.3. The Supplier shall, at its own expense, maintain and carry insurance, which include without limitation freight forwarding insurance and product liability, in full force and effect with financially sound and reputable insurers for the Deliverables. Upon PERI’s request, the Supplier shall provide PERI with a certificate of insurance from the Supplier’s insurer evidencing the insurance coverage as requested by PERI. The Supplier shall provide PERI with thirty (30) days’ advance written notice in the event of a cancellation or material change in the Supplier’s insurance policy. Except where prohibited by law, the Supplier shall require its insurer to waive all rights of subrogation against XXXX’x insurers and PERI or the indemnitees.
Insurance. For Party B, who qualifies as the insured under the Labor Insurance Act and National Health Insurance Act, Party A shall enroll him/her in the insurance program upon Party B arriving at the post. Party B shall withdraw from insurance coverage when the term of employment ends or upon resignation. If Party B is a foreigner and does not qualify for insurance under the Labor Insurance and National Health Insurance Programs, Party A may enroll him/her in the Omnibus Insurance Program for International Technical Cooperation Personnel, where Party B is responsible for 35% of the insurance premium and Party A’s research project shall subsidize the remaining 65%. If Party B does not wish to enroll in such an insurance program, he/she shall submit a written declaration (signed in person) to Party A.
Insurance. Party A shall enroll Party B, if eligible, for insurance as set forth in the Labor Pension Act and the National Health Insurance Act. Insurance shall be withdrawn when the term of the contract expire, or if Party B resigns when the contract is still in effect. Individuals who are not eligible under the Labor Pension Act or the National Health Insurance Act shall receive assistance from Party A in designating the Bank of Taiwan for comprehensive insurance for international technical cooperation personnel. Party B shall be responsible for a 35% insurance premium, and Party A subsidize the remaining 65% of the insurance premium.
