Radioisotope Waste. Wastes generated from unsealed radioisotopes or radiopharmaceuticals that were supplied through Japan Radioisotope Association, or generated by radiation generators defined by the Radiation Hazards Prevention Act. Radioisotope wastes are collected and treated in accordance with their properties safely and efficiently. The treated radioisotope wastes are packed in containers and managed under controlled conditions.
