Common use of A Probationary Selection Committee Clause in Contracts

A Probationary Selection Committee. for a teaching position shall consist of: • a relevant Xxxx or Vice President Academic, as Chairperson of the Committee; • an Assistant Xxxx appointed by the Vice President Academic; • three (3) faculty members, normally two from the relevant program area, one of which is appointed by the faculty in the program area, and one from another area, appointed by the Vice President Academic or designate; • up to two (2) students from the relevant program area, appointed by the Vice President Academic or designate; • other members, if invited by the Committee, to provide special expertise; and • the AVP Human Resources, or a designate, as an ex-officio, non-voting member.
