Common use of Abolishment of Position Clause in Contracts

Abolishment of Position. If Rim of the World Unified School District proposes to abolish a position or class of 3 positions, Rim of the World Unified School District shall notify the California School 4 Employees Association Chapter President in writing, at least (2) months, if possible, prior to the 5 Board of Trustees meeting wherein said action is to be taken, and Rim of the World Unified 6 School District must meet and negotiate with California School Employees Association on the 7 reclassification and retention of unit member(s) affected.
