Aboriginal Health Services. The LHN will work collaboratively with the DHW’s Aboriginal Health, other relevant health services, support organisations and Aboriginal community-controlled health services to continue to implement the regional Aboriginal Health Improvement Plan to support services meeting the needs of the local Aboriginal population. In recognition of the need to ensure appropriate resource allocation for Aboriginal Health Programs, the LHN should maintain or increase their relative funding allocation to these programs commensurate with their total funding allocation. The LHN is also required to participate in the South Australian Aboriginal Chronic Disease Consortium to progress implementation of the three statewide plans and consider opportunities to reorientate or reform services aligned with these plans:
