Absence - Authorized - Time Off Unpaid. A. All employees are expected to discharge the duties of their respective positions and shall not be absent except for reasons authorized by this Agreement, or for such other good and sufficient reasons as may be approved by the Director of Human Resources and Community Relations. Partial or full compensation during a period of authorized absence may be paid within the limitations of this Agreement or the law governing such absence.
