Absenteeism. The Employer and the Unions agree that chronic and/or unexcused absenteeism is undesirable and must be controlled. The Employer may terminate, at its discretion, for chronic and/or unexcused absenteeism as determined at the pre-job conference. The Employer shall be consistent with regard to termination for absenteeism.
