Acceptance of Patients. We reserve the right to accept or decline patients based upon our capability to appropriately handle the patient’s primary care needs. We may decline new patients pursuant to the guidelines proffered in Section 6 (Term), because the Physician’s panel of patients is full, or because the patient requires medical care not within the Physician’s scope of services.

Acceptance of Patients. The Company shall have the sole and exclusive authority to determine who will be accepted as patients of the Company's practice and to designate, or establish a procedure for designating, which professional employee of the Company will handle each such patient.
Acceptance of Patients. CONTRACTOR agrees that it shall not transfer or discharge patients solely because of inability to pay and is subject to the provisions of Federal and STATE law including but not limited to Section 1250, Section 1250.2 and Section 1317 of the California Health and Safety Code as it applies to psychiatric emergencies. In no event shall the provision of emergency services and care be based upon, or affected by, the person’s race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, citizenship, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, economic status, or ability to pay for medical services, except to the extent that a circumstance such as age, sex, pre-existing medical condition, or physical or mental handicap is medically significant to the provision of appropriate medical care to the patient. (California Health and Safety Code Section 1317, subdivision (b).)
Acceptance of Patients. Dr. Jinnah must reserve the right to accept or decline patients. Common reasons for declining to accept a patient include our inability to appropriately handle a patient’s needs and the need to close the practice to new patients to avoid over-crowding.
Acceptance of Patients. Patients will be accepted into the practice after an initial meeting with the Physician if Physician agrees to undertake diagnosis and treatment of the Patient. We reserve the right to accept or decline patients based upon our capability to appropriately handle the patient’s primary care needs. We may decline new patients pursuant to the guidelines proffered in Section 7 (Term), because the Physician’s panel of patients is full (capped at 700 patients or fewer), or because the patient requires medical care not within the Physician’s scope of services.
Acceptance of Patients. 2.1 The Medical Practitioner shall ordinarily accept on to his/her panel all Child Patients who so request. In the event of a Medical Practitioner not wishing to accept a Child Patient on to his/her panel, the Medical Practitioner, where so requested by the HSE, will give in confidence the reason for his/her decision to the HSE. Where the HSE is satisfied that a Child Patient has not succeeded in obtaining acceptance by a Medical Practitioner, the HSE may assign such a person to a Medical Practitioner in accordance with the provisions contained in Clause 3.
2.2 While the maintenance of the list of Child Patients shall remain at all times the responsibility of the HSE, the Medical Practitioner shall provide updates to the HSE of any changes to his/her panel of Child Patients on account of births, deaths or other reasons.

We may decline new patients pursuant to the guidelines proffered in Section 6 (Term), because the Physician’s panel of patients is full or because the patient requires medical care not within the Physician’s scope of services. Physicians panels will be capped currently at 600 and any adjustments to capacities lower or higher than this may be made subject to the complexity of the patient panel of each physician.
Acceptance of Patients. Company agrees to accept all patients of Client who are referred by physicians of Client, provided that such patients are pre-certified for such services (except as provided herein). Client is responsible for scheduling and pre-certifying all patients, providing Company all related delivered requests for procedures, the Patient's History and Profile, and any other required information as may reasonably be required to provide the service. "Pre-certified" shall mean that (i) an independent physician on Client's medical staff has ordered such services for the patient, and (ii) either Client has obtained preauthorization from the third party payor responsible for payment for the PET scan or the patient has agreed in writing to be personally responsible to Company for payment of all charges associated with the PET scan. A patient need not be pre-certified for PET scans in the event such scan is ordered by a physician on Client's medical staff in the course of providing a medical screening examination or stabilizing treatment required under the federal Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act.
