Common use of Accident and Incident Investigations Clause in Contracts

Accident and Incident Investigations. a) Every injury or near-miss which involved or would have involved a worker requiring outside medical aid must be investigated. b) the Company shall immediately notify the Ministry of Labour on all such critical injuries as defined in O. Reg. 834 under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. c) Accident and incidence investigation reports shall contain all pertinent information.

All incident reports are to be discussed with the JHSC at the next monthly meeting. All accidents or incidents are to be jointly investigated.
