ACCIDENTS AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION. ~ The Contractor shall provide, at the site, such equipment and medical facilities as are necessary to supply first aid service to anyone who may be injured in connection with the work. The Contractor shall be responsible for accident prevention and safety in the performance of all of the work, and shall be governed by the requirements of this article in all operations at the site of the work. The Contractor shall comply with all applicable safety regulations and orders of the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Occupational Safety and Health and all applicable provisions of the California Health and Safety Code, and shall take or cause to be taken such additional measures as may be necessary for the prevention of accidents. The Contractor shall impose the foregoing requirements on all subcontractors and enforce compliance therewith.
