Accrued Days Off. (i) Each full time employee shall be entitled to one accrued day off in each four week period, provided that the requisite extra hours (7.6 hours each four week period) have been accumulated. (ii) The employee's accrued day off duty shall be determined by mutual agreement between the employee and the College having regard to the needs of the College or departments thereof. (iii) Once set the accrued day off duty may only be changed in the case of genuine unforeseen circumstances or there is mutual agreement. Where such circumstances exist and the accrued day off is changed, another day shall be substituted in the current cycle. Should this not be practicable and agreement is not reached the day must be given and taken in the next cycle immediately following. Any accrued day off duty accumulated but not taken at the date of termination, shall be paid out at ordinary rates applicable at date of termination as part of the usual termination entitlement. (v) Where an employee's accrued day off duty falls due during a period of workers' compensation, the employee, on returning to full-time duty, shall be entitled to take the accrued day off at another mutually agreed time. (vi) If 22.8 hours (3 days) have been accumulated and the employee is unable to take the time off once it has been accumulated, then by agreement between the employee and the College the employee shall be paid for the time at the rate of time and one half.

Accrued Days Off. 5.4.1 Full-time Employees may be eligible and approved to work ordinary hours in accordance with the conditions below in order to accrue Accrued Days Off (i) Each full ADOs): The Employee may opt to work their ordinary hours in a manner whereby payment for a proportion of time employee shall be entitled to one accrued day off in each four week period, provided that worked is withheld and instead such time accrues towards an ADO during the requisite extra hours (7.6 hours each four week period) have been accumulated. (ii) The employee's accrued day off duty shall be determined by mutual agreement between the employee and the College having regard to the needs of the College or departments thereof. The Employer agrees to allow ADOs to be taken on the understanding that no additional Employees are required to cover their absence as they fall due in each four week period, however where there is agreement between the College and a result of an employee, ADO being taken. If an employee's accrued day off duty may be accumulated and be taken at a time mutually agreed upon between the College and the employee, provided that the maximum number of accrued days off duty which may accumulate under this paragraph shall be three (22.8 hours). Any accrued day off duty accumulated but not taken at the date of termination, shall be paid out at ordinary rates applicable at date of termination as part of the usual termination entitlement. (v) Where an employee's accrued day off duty falls due during a period of workers' compensation, the employee, on returning to full-time duty, shall be entitled to take the accrued day off at another mutually agreed time. (vi) If 22.8 hours (3 days) have been accumulated and the employee Employee is unable to take the time off once ADO within the roster cycle, the Employee may bank the ADO and take it has been accumulatedas soon as practicable, then by subject to agreement with the Employee’s supervisor. The manager may allocate ADOs to Employees on different days each roster cycle. ADOs will be arranged so that they do not fall on a Public Holiday or an annual leave day for an Employee. Where an Employee is not required to work on a Public Holiday that would otherwise be an ordinary working day for the Employee, it will be regarded as a day worked for ADO accrual purposes. Accrued but unused ADOs will be paid out at the Base Rate of Pay on termination. The provisions of this clause are only available to Pharmacists with the express agreement of the Employer. 5.4.2 An Employee must confirm their election to accrue ADOs in writing to their manager (timing to be negotiated between the employee Employer and Employee) and is limited to changing this flexible working option once per year, unless otherwise agreed by both parties. 5.4.3 Changes to ADO arrangements pursuant to this clause: may be discussed between the Employee and the College Employer at any time; may be required to be changed by the employee shall Employer solely to meet unforeseen fluctuations in patient demand for services, or where another Employee is absent from duty on account of illness or an emergency; provided that the Employee may be paid relieved from the requirement to change roster for the time genuine significant personal reasons; or may be changed at the rate request of time and one halfthe Employee on giving the Employer seven days’ notice of the desired change except where the Employee is ill or in an emergency; provided that where practicable it is the responsibility of the Employee requesting the change to find a suitable, competent, willing replacement for herself/himself who is acceptable to the Employer, prior to requesting the change.

Accrued Days Off. (a) A roster that includes an ADO arrangement shall only be by agreement between Xxxxxx and a full-time Employee (see clause 25.3). Part-time and casual Employees are not eligible to accrue an ADO. (b) The ordinary hours in a workplace may be arranged so that full-time Employees work their ordinary hours in a manner whereby payment for a proportion of time worked is withheld and instead such time accrues towards an accrued day off. (h) In any other situation where an Employee is on paid or unpaid leave of any type, no time shall accrue towards an ADO. However, an Employee returning to full-time duty, duty after leave shall be entitled eligible to take the next ADO on their roster (but shall only be paid for time worked and accrued day off at another mutually agreed timetowards that ADO). (vii) If 22.8 On termination of employment for any reason, any balance of ADO hours (3 days) have been accumulated and the employee is unable to take the time off once it has been accumulated, then by agreement between the employee and the College the employee shall will be paid for out to the time Employee at the rate of time and one halfOrdinary Rate.

Accrued Days Off. (a) Full-time Employees may accrue two banked hours towards ADOs each week. Every eight hours banked will amount to one ADO. An Employer may direct an Employee to take an ADO at another mutually agreed timea time which is convenient to the Employer. While the Employer will endeavour to provide Employees with as much notice of an ADO as possible, there will be times when longer periods of notice cannot be provided. An Employer must not direct an Employee to take more than 6 ADOs in any one year. (vi) If 22.8 Employers will keep records of ADOs accrued, taken voluntarily and taken involuntarily. (vii) Where an Employee has 12 accrued ADOs, the Employee must use ADOs before taking any accrued annual leave. (viii) ADO hours accrued but not used by the end of each September will be paid out in the first week of October. (3 daysix) have been accumulated and ADOs not taken are paid out on termination of employment or when the employee is unable to take the time off once it has been accumulated, then by agreement between the employee and the College the employee shall be paid for the time at the rate of time and one halfrequests.

(e) ADOs must be cleared in the employee calendar year in which they accrue. If, to meet the convenience of the Employer, an Employee cannot clear ADOs in the aforementioned calendar year then they shall be cleared in the next succeeding six months. (f) Part time Employees working 16 hours and under per week will not accrue time off, but will be paid for all hours worked. Part time Employees working over sixteen hours per week will accrue days off on the same basis as full time at Employees, but all benefits therefore will be pro rata in the rate proportion that the number of hours worked bears to the hours worked by full time Employees. This provision may be renegotiated if job sharing arrangements are introduced for Youth Custodial Officers. (g) Time off will not be accrued whilst Employees are on annual leave and one halflong service leave.
