ACCRUED SENIORITY DURING APPROVED LEAVES. All employees shall continue to accrue seniority to a maximum of six (6) months during an approved leave of absence. Exceptions are leaves as described in Article 22 (Maternity/Legal Adoption Leave) for a maximum of twelve (12) months, Article 21.06 (Political Leave) for a maximum of twenty-four (24) months, and 7.03 (f) (Full-Time Union Leave) for the duration of the term of office. Thereafter the employee's seniority shall be maintained unless lost by reason of the provision of 10.05.
