Accumulation and Use of Compensatory Time Off. The maximum accumulation of Compensating Time Off (CTO) shall be one hundred sixty (160) hours. 1. Overtime which is worked will be compensated by either cash or CTO at the employee's option. 2. Upon the request of the employee the County will pay off accumulated CTO time in the 25th pay period. It shall be the employee’s option to determine whether all or part of the CTO is paid. 3. Use of accumulated CTO shall be a time mutually agreeable to the Department Head or designee and the employee. 4. Upon termination, any employee with accumulated CTO shall have the CTO paid off in full.
