ACTIVE DUTY ASSIGNMENT. Serve up to 4 years on active duty as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army or for a period as prescribed by relevant Army regulations based on the needs of the Army, followed by service in the Reserve Component as set forth in relevant Army regulations, until the remainder of my eight-year contractual military service obligation has been served.
