Cadets. 51.1. This clause applies to employees recruited as Cadet APS in the ATO. Cadet APS is a recognised training classification which provides the Commissioner will allocate an APS 3 classification to the employee on satisfactory completion of the appropriate tertiary course of study and any workplace training required by the ATO. Cadets. An employee who was employed as a Cadet prior to becoming a Police Officer, shall have access to purchase the clothing and equipment set forth in Subd. 1, less the cost of any prior purchases made by the Employer on behalf of said Xxxxx.
Cadets. I understand and agree that I will incur an active duty and/or reimbursement obligation after the first day of my MS II year (sophomore year) if I am a three-, four- or five-year scholarship recipient; after the first day of my MS III year (junior year) if I am a two-year scholarship recipient; or after the first day of my MS IV year (senior year) if I am a one-year or less scholarship recipient.
Cadets. The University may employ eligible persons as cadets on a fixed-term basis. Cadets will receive the following percentage of the applicable rate specified in • 1st year 60% • 2nd year 75% • 3rd year 85%.
Cadets. A person may be employed as a Cadet, and will be entitled to the salary specified for Cadets under the Entry Level Programs Broadband. Where a Cadet is undertaking full time study, they will be entitled to the salary specified in the Entry Level Program Broadband for Cadet – Full Time Study. Where a Cadet undertakes a work placement with the department, they will be entitled to the salary specified for Cadet – Work Placement, commencing at the first pay point specified for Cadets. Salary advancement will occur in accordance with subclause C4.8(f). A Cadet is not entitled to salary advancement under clause B.5. A Xxxxx’s performance will be assessed against: making satisfactory progress towards the completion of their course of study (in accordance with relevant policy or Program guidelines); and demonstrating fully effective performance of duties during work placements. Where a Cadet demonstrates fully effective performance (in accordance with subclause C.4.8(e), they will be entitled to salary advancement to the next available salary point for Cadets – Work Placement, on the anniversary of their commencement on the Cadetship program. On successful completion of a Cadetship (other than an ICT Cadetship), an employee will: advance to the APS 3 level within the Entry Level Program Broadband; and immediately following that advancement, transfer to the APS 3 level in the general employment stream. On successful completion of an ICT Cadetship, an employee will: advance to the APS 4 level within the Entry Level Program Broadband; and immediately following that advancement, transfer to the APS 4 level in the general employment stream.
Cadets. Employees recruited as Cadets will undertake a course of study as determined by the Delegate. Cadets will be assigned to the APS 1 classification level within the Training Broadband. On successful completion of their course of study and a final 12-week work placement, Xxxxxx will be assessed for advancement to the APS 3 classification level within the Training Broadband at a pay point determined by the Delegate provided: the employee has performed satisfactorily; there is sufficient work available at the higher classification level; and the employee has the necessary skills and proficiencies to perform that work. Cadet rates of pay will apply to the first (lowest) pay point of the Training Broadband APS 1 classification as set out in Schedule 3, and based on the task as set out in Table 4.24.1.
Cadets. 22.1 The TSRA may engaged a person as a Cadet APS.
22.2 A Cadet APS will be paid at the minimum salary point of APS1 during any work experience placements.
22.3 When the Chief Executive Officer is satisfied that the course of training has been successfully completed, a Cadet APS employee may be allocated a classification in accordance with the APS Classification Rules 2000 and the Chief Executive Officer will determine a salary within the applicable range.
Cadets. 102.1 Cadet salaries, paid fortnightly, will be based upon the anticipated hours that an employee will spend studying and the anticipated hours the employee will spend in the workplace in a year. 102.2 Notwithstanding clause 14 of this Agreement, the rate of pay while undertaking study for a Cadet who was engaged prior to the commencement of this Agreement and is younger than 21 years of age, is the rate set out in Schedule 1 of Attachment A.
Cadets. (1) An employer, who, after the commencement of this award, engages a cadet shall, within fourteen days of the engagement, notify the Industrial Registrar accordingly and shall advise the Registrar in writing of the terms and conditions of the employment.
(2) Upon receipt of the notification referred to in subclause (1) of this clause, the Registrar shall notify the union and shall afford it the opportunity of examining the terms and conditions of employment referred to in that subclause.
(3) Within fourteen days of being notified by the Registrar the union may object to the employment of the cadet and the Commission may, on hearing the objection: -
(a) allow or refuse permission for the employment of the cadet; and
(b) make such order as it deems fit with regard to the terms and conditions of employment.
(4) The provisions of this clause do not affect any cadet employed at the date of this award.
Cadets. 9.1 A journalist can be employed on a cadetship in accordance with clause 9.
9.2 Cadets will be paid 90% of the Journalist Grade 1 rate of pay.
9.3 Cadets must be instructed progressively throughout their cadetship in practical journalism and a responsible person will supervise that training. Cadets must also be given the opportunity to acquire a full knowledge of the handling of news/current affairs from its collection to its broadcast/televising.
9.4 Cadets will from time to time accompany classified journalists on assignments to receive practical instruction.
9.5 Cadets will be re-classified as Journalist- Grade 1 once tertiary qualifications are obtained.
