Salary Provisions A. Employees shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement for all hours worked. B. Salaries contained in Appendix A shall be for the entire term of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of Article 26. Should the date of execution of this Agreement be subsequent to the effective date, salaries, including overtime, shall be retroactive to the effective date. C. Retroactive pay, where applicable, shall be paid on the first regular pay day following execution of this Agreement, if possible, and in any case not later than the second regular pay day. In the case of retroactive pay resulting from negotiations pursuant to Article 26, such retroactive pay shall be paid on the first regular pay day following agreement on such schedule, if possible, and in any case not later than the second regular pay day.
Supplementary Provisions 10.1. The failure or delay of any party hereof to exercise any right hereunder shall not be deemed as a waiver thereof, nor any single or partial exercise of any right preclude further exercise thereof in future by the party. 10.2. The headings of articles herein are provided for the purpose of index. Such headings shall in no event be used or affected interpretations of the terms herein. 10.3. The conclusion, effectiveness, interpretation of the agreement and the settlement of disputes in connection therewith, shall be governed by laws of Hong Kong Special Administration Region of the People’s Republic of China. 10.4. Each party hereunder concludes the agreement with legal purpose. Each term hereof is severable and independent from the others. If at any time one or more of such terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining terms hereof shall not in any way be affected thereby; and the parties shall make every endeavor to negotiate and arrive at new terms to substitute the invalid, illegal and unenforceable terms, and preserve as near as possible business purposes of the original terms. 10.5. Upon the effectiveness of the agreement, the parties shall fully perform the agreement. Any modifications of the agreement shall only be effective in written form, through consultations of the parties, and obtained necessary authorization and approval by Party D and Party E respectively. 10.6. Matters not covered in the agreement shall be dealt with in a supplementary agreement, and annexed hereto. The supplementary agreement shall have the same legal force as the agreement. 10.7. The agreement is executed in six original copies, which are equally authentic. Each party hereto shall hold one copy. 10.8. The agreement shall be effective upon execution. Contract Duration and Annual Salary 1. The College hereby employs the Administrator in the capacity of Director - Marketing Services, Associate Professor for one year, commencing on July 1, 2024 and terminating on June 30, 2025. The Administrator accepts such employment on the conditions hereinafter set forth, and any applicable provisions of the Board of Trustees Policy Manual. In the event of conflict between Board Policy and this Contract, the Contract shall govern. 2. For the 2024-2025 contract year, the Administrator shall receive an annual salary of $178,054.00 subject to applicable deductions, to be paid in bi-weekly installments as full compensation for all rights granted and service performed under this Contract.
Salary and Fringe Benefits The employee shall be paid a salary which is the pro- rata share of the salary which the employee would have earned had he or she not elected to exercise the option of reduced workload. The employee shall retain all other rights and benefits enjoyed by full-time members of the unit.
Basic Salary For all your services rendered under this Agreement, UO shall pay you a salary at an annual rate of no less than $450,000, or at such higher salary as may be determined by your performance review and the Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Legal & Business Affairs, UPR. Such higher salary shall subsequently be deemed the annual rate, commencing on such date as the Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Legal & Business Affairs, UPR may determine, for purposes of this Agreement.
Annual Salary Executive's compensation shall consist of an annual base salary (the "Annual Salary") of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000), before all customary payroll deductions. The Annual Salary shall be reviewed, and shall be subject to change, by the Board of Directors of Employer (or the Compensation Committee thereof) at least annually while Executive is employed hereunder.
Salary Payments Salaries shall be paid fortnightly by direct credit to the employee’s nominated bank account except that individual employees may on religious or ethical grounds apply in writing to the Secretary for Education to be paid by cheque.
Salary Deductions Salaried employees (E-level classifications) who are permanently assigned to full-time job classifications are paid on a bi-weekly salary basis. Salaried employees are paid a bi-weekly salary based on a minimum of two (2) forty (40) hour workweeks. The bi-weekly salary received by salaried employees will not be reduced regardless of the number of hours the salaried employee actually works in any week in which the salaried employee performs any work except for the following deductions: (A) Deductions from a salaried employee's salary may be made for any workweek in which the salaried employee performs no work. (B) Deductions from a salaried employee's salary may be made when the employee absents himself from work for a full day or days for personal reasons, other than sickness or accident. This provision shall not prevent appropriate deductions from being made from any employee's vacation leave balance pursuant to Article 11 of this Agreement for absences of less than a day for personal reasons, other than sickness or accident. (C) Deductions from an employee's salary may be made when a salaried employee absents himself from work for a day (or days) for sickness or accident disability in accordance with the provisions of Articles 13 and 14 of this Agreement. (D) Deduction in a salaried employee's salary may be made for the initial or terminal week of the salaried employee if the salaried employee fails to work the entire workweek.
Increment Date for Salary Grid Placement Upon achieving one (1) year of experience, an increment shall be awarded on the first of the month following the month in which the experience accumulation is earned.
Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V. (b) Salary schedules will contain Career Enhancement/Growth steps as described in Section 45.6.
