Adoption or Child Care Leave. 1. An adoptive leave or child care leave of up to a maximum of the equivalent of one full school year shall be granted to a tenured teacher upon written request to the Superintendent’s office. The teacher must make application thirty (30) school days prior to the leave. Return from a child care or adoption leave shall be at the beginning of the school year following the expiration of the leave.
