Adoptive Parent Leave. 22:01 An employee shall be granted three (3) working day’s leave with pay to attend to needs directly related to the adoption of the child. At the employee’s option such leave shall be granted on the day of, or the day following the adoption.
Adoptive Parent Leave. An employee shall be granted one (1) day's leave with pay to attend to needs directly related to the adoption of the child. At the employee's option such leave shall be granted on the day of or the day following the adoption or such other day as may be mutually agreed.
Adoptive Parent Leave. 33:01 An employee shall be granted one (1) day’s leave with pay to attend to needs directly related to the adoption of the child. At the employee’s option such leave shall be granted on the day of, or the day following the adoption.
33:02 Where a female employee adopts a child aged sixty (60) months or younger, such employee shall be eligible to receive maternity leave and the relevant provisions of Article 32 - Maternity Leave shall apply with the necessary modifications.
Adoptive Parent Leave.
34:01 An employee shall be granted one (1) scheduled shift leave with pay to attend to the needs directly related to the adoption of the child. At the employee’s option, such leave shall be granted on the day of, or the day following the adoption. The employee may be required to furnish proof of adoption.
34:02 The Adoptive Parent Leave referred to in 34:01 shall be calculated by multiplying eight (8) hours times to pro-rating factor.
Adoptive Parent Leave.
22:01 Upon written request to the Employer, an employee who is adopting a child may be granted leave without pay up to a maximum of seventeen (17) weeks, to commence immediately following the date of the adoption. The employee may be required to furnish proof of the adoption.
22:02 An employee shall be granted one (1) day’s leave with pay to attend to needs directly related to the adoption of the employee’s child. At the employee’s option, such leave shall be granted on the day of, or the day following the adoption.
Adoptive Parent Leave. A Teacher adopting a child of eighteen
Adoptive Parent Leave. (a) An employee who has completed the probationary period shall be granted leave of absence without pay and benefits for a period of up to six (6) months in duration for the purpose of adopting a child provided that:
(i) she makes written request for such leave at the time the application for adoption is approved and keeps the Employer advised of the status of such application; and
(ii) she provides the Employer with at least one (1) days notice that such leave is to commence.
(b) An employee absent on adoptive parent leave shall provide the Employer with six (6) weeks written notice of readiness to return to work following which the Employer will reinstate her in the same position held immediately prior to taking such leave or provide her with alternate work of a comparable nature at not less than the same step in the salary scale and with other benefits accrued to her at the date the leave commenced.
Adoptive Parent Leave.
27:01 An employee shall be granted one (1) day’s leave with pay to attend to needs directly related to the adoption of their child. At the employee’s option such leave shall be granted on the day of, or the day following the adoption.
(a) Where an employee has become an adoptive parent and has applied for and qualified for parental leave, the employee shall be permitted to apply up to five (5) days of their accumulated sick leave against the Employment Insurance waiting period.
(b) Should the employee not return to work following the parenting leave for a period of employment sufficient to allow for re-accumulation of the number of sick days granted under subsection (a), the employee shall compensate the Employer for the balance of the outstanding days at the time of termination. Approved sick leave with pay granted during the period of return shall be counted as days worked.
Adoptive Parent Leave. An employee who has completed the probationary period shall be granted leave of absence without pay and benefits for a period of up to sixty-two (62) weeks months in duration for the purpose of adopting a child provided that:
(i) they make written request for such leave at the time the application for adoption is approved and keeps the Employer advised of the status of such application; and
(ii) they provide the Employer with at least one (1) day’s notice that such leave is to commence.
Adoptive Parent Leave. 01 An Engineer shall be granted one (1) day's leave with pay to attend to needs directly related to the adoption of the child. At the Engineer's option, such leave shall be granted on the day of, or the day following the adoption, or at such times as mutually agreed.
