Common use of Adoptive Parent Leave Clause in Contracts

Adoptive Parent Leave. 25:01 An employee shall be granted one (1) days’ leave with pay to attend to needs directly related to the adoption of a child. At the employee’s option such leave shall be granted on the day of, or the day following the adoption. 25:02 The Adoptive Parent Leave referred to in 25:01 shall be calculated by multiplying eight (8) hours times the pro-rating factor.
