Advanced Sick Leave. Employees may request and management may approve requests for advanced sick leave. This amount, by law, may not exceed 240 hours for full time employees who have completed a probationary or trial period. Supervisors approving a request for advanced sick leave must have reasonable assurance that the employee will be in duty status long enough to repay or liquidate the advanced leave granted.
