Common use of Agency Shop Election Clause in Contracts

Agency Shop Election. If, at any time during the term of this Memorandum of Understanding, 30 percent of the employees represented by this Bargaining Unit sign a petition to request an agency shop agreement, the Union shall have the right to conduct a secret ballot election at any time during the term of the Memorandum of Understanding to determine whether a majority of the employees in the Bargaining Unit, who vote, are in favor of an agency fee agreement as provided in G.C. 3502.
