Airport Firefighters and Fire Captains. (a) A regular Airport Firefighter or Airport Fire Captain except when on retirement leave pursuant to Article 25.04(1), shall be credited with four (4) shifts special leave credits upon commencement of his/her first year of service and upon each year of continuous service thereafter to a maximum of twenty (20) shifts. For the purpose of leave accruals, a shift is deemed to be 12 hours.
