In addition, and not later than 3 months prior to delivery of each Aircraft, Customer will, by letter to the regulatory authority having jurisdiction, authorize the temporary use of such registration numbers by Boeing during the pre-delivery testing of the Aircraft. Customer is responsible for furnishing any Temporary or Permanent Registration Certificates required by any governmental authority having jurisdiction to be displayed aboard the Aircraft after delivery.

In addition to the fuel provided by Boeing pursuant to paragraph 4.4, Boeing assists its customers with unique services or accommodation items at no additional charge. If requested, Boeing provides oil and hydraulic fluid for the ferry flight. Also, if the customer doesn’t load their own navigation database for ferry flight, Boeing will provide a limited-time use database for the ferry flight.
Airworthiness and Registration Documents. Customer has expressed concerns regarding the lead times required for Customer to notify Boeing of registration number, SELCAL codes, etc. To the extent possible, Boeing will provide reminders to Customer to provide such information, but it is ultimately Customer’s responsibility to provide timely information in support of the contracted delivery month for the Aircraft.

Airworthiness and Registration Documents. Boeing and Customer agree that the registration number provided by Customer shall be utilized for each Remarket Aircraft for the process of aircraft certification. Not later than six (6) months prior to Initial Technical Acceptance and upon Boeing request, Customer will notify Boeing of the registration number to be painted on the side of the Remarket Aircraft. In addition, and not later than three (3) months prior to Initial Technical Acceptance and upon Boeing request, Customer will authorize, by letter to the regulatory authority having jurisdiction, the temporary use of such registration numbers by Boeing during the pre-delivery testing of the Remarket Aircraft. To the extent insufficient time exists between Customer’s purchase of the Remarket Aircraft and the deadlines in this paragraph, Customer will provide the information required as soon as possible following such purchase.
