ALLOCATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF NET INCOME GAIN OR LOSS. A "valuation date" under this Plan is each Accounting Date and each interim valuation date determined under Section 10.14. As of each valuation date the Advisory Committee must adjust Accounts to reflect net income, gain or loss since the last valuation date. The valuation period is the period beginning the day after the last valuation date and ending on the current valuation date.

ALLOCATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF NET INCOME GAIN OR LOSS. This Section 9.08 applies solely to the allocation of net income, gain or loss of the Trust Fund. The Plan Administrator will allocate Employer contributions and Participant forfeitures, if any, in accordance with Article III. A “valuation date” under this Plan is each: (1) Accounting Date; (2) valuation date the Employer elects in its Adoption Agreement Section 10.15; or (3) valuation date the Plan Administrator establishes under Section 9.03. The Employer in its Adoption Agreement Section 10.15 or the Plan Administrator may elect alternative valuation dates for the different Account types which the Plan Administrator maintains under the Plan. As of each valuation date, the Plan Administrator must adjust Accounts to reflect net income, gain or loss since the last valuation date. The Plan Administrator will allocate net income, gain or loss to the Participant Accounts in accordance with the daily valuation method, balance forward method, weighted average method, or other method the Employer elects under its Adoption Agreement. The Employer in its Adoption Agreement may elect alternative methods under which the Plan Administrator will allocate the net income, gain or loss to the different Account types which the Plan Administrator maintains under the Plan. If the Employer in its Adoption Agreement elects to apply a weighted average allocation method, the Plan Administrator will treat a weighted portion of the applicable contributions as if includible in the Participant’s Account as of the beginning of the valuation period. The weighted portion is a fraction, the numerator of which is the number of months in the valuation period, excluding each month in the valuation period which begins prior to the contribution date of the applicable contributions, and the denominator of which is the number of months in the valuation period. The Employer in its Adoption Agreement may elect to substitute a weighting period other than months for purposes of this weighted average allocation. If the Employer in its Adoption Agreement elects to apply the daily valuation method, the Plan Administrator will allocate the net income, gain or loss on each day of the Plan Year for which Plan assets are valued on an established market and the Trustee is conducting business.
