Allocation of Grant Funding. 3.1 Work is still progressing on the possible allocation of pump priming and reward grants. Some pump priming funding (which could amount to around £2m), could potentially go to any partners who sign up at level 2 or above. The allocation will be agreed by the core group of partners on the basis of recommendations from the groups working on each main priority. Short-term project activities are unlikely to qualify for pump priming grant. 3.2 The payment of performance reward grant is dependent on achievement of the targets. It is estimated that the reward grant could be £29.5m for 100% achievement of the targets. It is proposed that the allocation of the performance reward xxxxx reflects the different roles and levels of sign-up described in para. 3.1. A percentage (to be agreed) will be top-sliced from the total reward xxxxx earned and split equally between all the Level 3 partners. The remainder of the grant would be allocated by target and shared between Level 2 and Level 1 partners, with Level 1 partners having a greater share to reflect their greater responsibilities and effort. If at least 60% of any stretch target is not achieved then no reward grant will be earned. 3.3 When the final targets (and performance indicators) are agreed, consideration will be given to weighting any of the targets according to difficulty or complexity etc, so that any reward grant is weighted accordingly.
