Alternate Status Sample Clauses

Alternate Status. Some members may possibly be offered a position as an alternate. If you depart with the corps on tour, and you are designated as an alternate prior to that time, the fee to participate is the same as all other members. This fee must be paid before the corps departs on tour. Alternate status does not automatically mean you will gain a spot during the summer, however, with the physical demands of the activity, your chances of attaining a spot is better than not being on the road at all. If the alternate member does not become a full marching member, you will be refunded one half of their tour fee paid.
