Salary Determination a. Merit Award or Outstanding Performance Award: Above normal performance in at least two (2) of the three (3) areas: teaching, scholarship/creative activity, or public service; or outstanding performance or special recognition in at least one (1) of these areas, and normal performance in the remaining area or areas of assigned duties.

Salary Determination. Part-time teachers shall be compensated on a pro-rated basis as determined by their service assignment to the particular building's regular teaching day. Compensation for scheduled in-service days will be included in the teacher’s contract.
Salary Determination. (a) Where a new position is created or an existing position is substantially modified, the BCGEU will provide the Union with a new or changed job description. The Union and the BCGEU shall meet within 30 days to negotiate the salary for the new or substantially modified job if the Union does not agree with the salary established by the BCGEU.
