Common use of Alternative Forms of Grievance Mediation Clause in Contracts

Alternative Forms of Grievance Mediation. a) At any time, following the Informal Step in the Grievance Procedure, the parties by mutual consent in writing, may elect to resolve the Grievance by using any form of Grievance Mediation the parties may find mutually acceptable. The parties shall agree on the individual to be the Mediator and the time frame in which a resolution is to be reached. The decision of the Grievance Mediator shall not add to, delete from, modify or otherwise amend the provisions of this Agreement.
