Common use of Appearance Before Employer Clause in Contracts

Appearance Before Employer. No teacher shall be required to appear before the Board concerning any matter which could adversely affect the continuation of that teacher in his/her position, employment, salary, or increments pertaining thereto, unless he/she has been given prior written notice and an Association representative is present during the meeting at the request of the teacher.

No teacher shall be required to appear before the Board or Superintendent concerning any matter which could adversely affect the continuation of that teacher in his/her position, employment, salary, employment or the salary and any increments pertaining thereto, unless he/she has and the Association have been given prior written notice and an Association representative is present during the meeting at the request of the teacherreason for such a meeting or interview. The teacher shall also be entitled to have a representative of the Association present to advise and represent him/her.
