Common use of Appearance Before Employer Clause in Contracts

Appearance Before Employer. A teacher shall be entitled to have present another teacher or teachers during any appearances before the Board of Trustees concerning any matter which could adversely affect the teacher’s position, employment, salary, or any increments thereto pertaining. A teacher shall be given prior written notice of the reason for such a meeting or interview and shall be advised in advance of the right to representation under this provision of the Agreement. Prior written notice could include public posting of meeting agenda.
